People of Grottole

In November 2024 I got selected for an Artist Residency by Wonder Grottole. Spending one month in a small rural Italian village, I wanted to do a project that captures the soul of the village. I ended up painting over 50 portraits of the inhabitants. At the end of the recidency I staged an exhibiton and invited the community to take part in the work. All the portraits were also documented on a project website.
